The default privacy settings on will share your profile picture with a saved contact in WhatsApp.
To message without adding any number as a contact, type in the number, then click on Message!. You can start messaging with your own phone number as well. We do not store the phone number on our servers, and it is sent directly to the WhatsApp API.
